Kosheen je trip hop, drum and bass i rok grupa osnovana u Bristolu, u Engleskoj. Trio čine producenti Markee Substance (Mark Davies, 1974, Springburn, Glasgow) i Darren Decoder (Darren Beale, 1974, Bristol), sa pevačicom i tekstopiscem Sian Evans (rođena 9. oktobra, 1973). Ime benda je kombinacija japanskih reči ‚‚star'' (古, transkribovana kao 'ko') i ‚‚nov" (新, 'shin').

Resist

Njihov prvi album, ''Resist'' objavljen je u zemljama Beneluksa 25. juna 2001. godine , u Velikoj Britaniji u septembru 2001. godine kao izdanje od 16 pesama. Iznedrio je singlove ''(Slip & Slide) Suicide'', ''Hide U'', ''Catch'', ''Hungry'' i ''Harder''.

Kokopelli

Njohov drugi album, ''Kokopelli'' - objavljen u avgustu 2003. godine - imenovan je po mitskom indijanskom duhu (Kokopelli) i manje je baziran na drum and bass ritmu a više na zvuku gitare i tamno obojenim stihovima. Nadmašio je prethodni album plasiranjem na sedmo mesto na UK listi albuma i singlom ''All in my head'', koji je takođe bio na sedmom mestu, ali nije prodat tako uspešno kao on. Član benda Darren Beale je izjavio: ‚‚Kokopelli je bio duhovno lice i išao je po indijanskim selima da bi obezbedio plodnost zemlje sunarodnicima. Pretpostavljam da je bio neka vrsta vrača i da su se njegovi rituali odigravali uz muziku i igru. Već smo bili usmereni na američku istoriju i kulturu, ali onda je Sian čitala o ovoj ličnosti i došli smo na ideju da po njemu naslovimo album.''

Damage

Treći album ovog benda, ''Damage'', objavljen je u Evropi u martu 2007. godine za Universal Germany. U Velikoj Britaniji objavljen je sa dve dodatne pesme (''Analogue Street Dub'' i ''Profesional friend'') koje nije sadržalo evropsko izdanje, u Moksha Recordings-u u septembru 2007. godine. Prvi singl na ovom albumu bio je ''Overkill'', a objavljen je u avgustu 2007.

Independence

Četvrti album završen je u martu 2010. godine i biće objavljen ove godine. Nazvan je ''Independence'', a prvi singl će verovatno biti pesma ''Get a new one''. Tu će se naći i pesme "Sign", "Waste", "Spies", "Addict", "Harder They Fall", "Shut U Out", "Tightly" i "I Don't Need It". Prvo se najavljivao za 27. septembar 2010. Ali sačekaćemo ga još malo...
