Jack White najavio je izlazak svog solo albuma "Blunderbuss" za 23. 3. Objavit će ga za vlastitu etiketu Third Man Records. Album će sadržavati 13 pesama, a najavni je singl "Love Interruption" na kojemu je ostvario suradnju s pjevačicom Ruby Amanfu.

Peti studijski album Nelly Furtado pod nazivom ‚‚The Spirit Indestructible" je najavljen za 18. septembar 2012. godine.
Tek danas sam na MTV-u čula live izvođenje drugog singla sa ovog albuma, koji nosi naziv samog albuma i moram priznati da mi je žao što ranije nisam imala vremena..šta god..da poslušam pažljivo ovu pesmu. Jedva čekam da čujem ceo album, ali svakako ovo što sam čula mi pokazuje da Nelly muzički evoluira, što je sasvim normalno i poželjno, ali istovremeno ostaje dosledna sebi..

The album is eclectic; it contains elements from hip-hop, R&B, dance, rock and drum & bass. Furtado proclaims that the overall sound of The Spirit Indestructible would be most similar to her debut album Whoa, Nelly!, with the passion of Folklore, the drama of Loose, and the romance of Mi Plan. The influences for the album range from Janelle Monae, The xx, to Florence + the Machine.
Following the introduction, she said that nostalgia is a major theme of the album and it revisits her past in a "fresh and colorful way". Also, she included that she wrote the songs in "intense personal growth" and they have "incredible meaning" to her.

Bob Dylan 11. 9. 2012. izdaje svoj trideset i peti studijski album nazvan "Tempest". Najavljuje ga pjesma "Duquesne Whistle" za koju je snimljen i spot. Zanimljivo je da Dylan ove godine slavi 50. godinu karijere, a album je sam producirao pod pseudonimom Jack Frost.

Drugi studijski album grupe Hurts zvaće se ‚‚Exile''. Najavljeno je da će izaći 11. 3. 2013.




Za sada su izašle samo 2 pesme, ‚‚The Road'' i ‚‚Miracle'', i još se ne zna lista pesama.

Pearl Jam će 15. listopada ove godine objaviti novi album “Lightning Bolt”.

Pored već objavljenog singla “Mind Your Manners”, uživo su izveli i “Future Days” i “Lightning Bolt”.

Od ostalih pjesama s nadolazećeg albuma na YouTubeu mogu se poslušati još i American Skin (41 Shots) (meni osobno najbolja od ovih koje sam čula do sada), Just Like Fire Would i The Ghost of Tom Joad. Iako se ne nadam nekom savršenom albumu, jedva čekam da čujem što je The Boss pripremio.

Nisam više toliko u tim metal vodama, ali Disturbed me uvijek podsjeti na srednjoškolske dane i zanima me što su pripremili. Ako je vjerovati singlu, ostaju vjerni onome što su i do sada radili.

Novi solo album Andrewa Birda najavljuje pjesma Left Handed Kisses koju je snimio s Fionom Apple.



Andrewa sam otkrila prije nekih 5 godina. Ovaj multiinstrumentalist s vrlo ugodnim glasom bavi se muzikom već 20 godina, što solo, što s pratećim bendom Bowl of Fire. Možda me ne uspije uvijek oduševiti, ali uvijek mi je drago čuti njegov indie pop/folk.

Osmi studijski album nastao je u čast basiste Chia Chenga koji je 13. aprila 2013. godine preminuo nakon što je proveo skoro pet godina u komi i na aparatima za održavanje života. Najavljuju ga singlovi Prayers/Triangles i Doomed User.





Teško da će Deftones dostići uspjeh svog albuma White Pony i hita Change (In the House of Flies), ali svakako želim čuti što su pripremili na albumu koji je, prema riječima pjevača, inspiriran Morrisseyem.
