Nikolas Nik Džejms Marfi (23. jun 1988), poznatiji pod umetničkim imenom Čet Fejker (Chet Faker), australijski je pevač i tekstopisac. On je 2012. objavio ploču sa nekoliko pesma pod nazivom "Thinking in Textures" i potpisao ugovor sa izdavačkom kućom "Downtown Records" u SAD. U oktobru iste godine dobio je dve nagrade, za najboljeg novog umetnika i za najbolji album na Nezavisnoj australijskoj dodeli muzičkih nagrada.

Uradio je kaver grupe Blekstrit za pesmu "No Diggity", a debitantski album, "Built on Glass" objavio je u aprilu 2014. godine. Za njega je dobio mnoge pozitivne kritike i sa njim je dospeo na prvo mesto australijskih top-lista.

Marfi je, posle uspeha koji je postigao kao Nik Marfi, dao sebi umetničko ime Čet Fejker u čast Četu Bejkeru.

- Slušao sam mnogo džez i mnogo mi se dopao način na koji je on pevao. Imao je krhak vokalni stil - lomljiv, blizak i intimni stil. Moje umetničko ime je na neki način odavanje časti Četu Bejkeru i vrsti muzike kojom se bavio - koju i ja želim da predstavim kroz svoju muziku - rekao je on u jednom intervjuu.

Među drugima koji su uticali na njegovu muziku naveo je i Boba Dilana.

Njegov prvi album "Thinking in Textures" postao je viralan na internetu, a na njemu se posebno istakla pesma "I'm Into You".

Posle ovoga radio je sa nekoliko drugih umetnika, uključujući saradnju sa "Flume" i remikse pesma od "MS MR" i "The Temper Trap".

U avgustu 2013. objavio je singl "Melt", na kom peva sa Kajlo Kiš, a u novembru iste godine "Flume" i on objavili su kratak album pod nazivom "Lockjaw".

Prvi Fejkerov studijski album "Built on Glass", objavljen je 11. aprila 2014, a najavljen je singlom "Talk is Cheap".

Sa di-džejom Markusom Marom objavio je još jedan kratak album, "Work", 4. decembra 2015. godine.

Početkom septembra na Tviteru je najavio da će sledeći materijal koji objavi biti pod njegovim imenom - Nik Marfi.

- Već je prošlo pola decenije otkako radim pod imenom Čet Fejker i svi ste vi bili pokretačka snaga koja je bila iza moje muzike. Došlo je do evolucije i ja sam imao potrebu da vam kažem za nju. Sledeći materijal objaviću pod svojim imenom, Nik Marfi. Čet Fejker će uvek biti deo muzike. Ovo je sledeće - pisalo je u statusu objavljenom na njegovom zvaničnom nalogu na ovoj društvenoj mreži.
